Introducing Private Coaching

Over the past year or so I had received quite a few requests for private training sessions. It was either from people who attended my online courses or saw my lectures and wanted to expand on our 30-minute private training session to dig deeper into their own workflow or from people who did not really want to go through the entire course, but just wanted an opportunity to have a specific issue discussed.

So a decision was made to create a Coaching page on my website that would offer precisely that. You can now visit www.gainmedialab.com, click on the Coaching item in the menu and be presented with two options for one-on-one online sessions - a 20-minute version and a 40-minute version.

The 20-minute version is designed as a way to answer a specific topic or question, focusing on one aspect of your workflow that you want help with. During my teaching years I found that 20-minutes is the right amount of time to keep us focused on one specific thing and still provide plenty of opportunity to discuss it in a meaningful and deep way without it feeling rushed.

The 40-minute version is aimed at looking at either several topics in one session or tackling bigger issues. I have had great success with discussing console templates, doing mix critiques, examining checklists and improving workflows in general - broader themes that need more time and discussion opportunity.

The process is quite simple - select the session length that works best for you, add it to your shopping cart by using the Book Session button and make a purchase via Paypal. Once that is complete, you will receive an Appointlet link, where you will be able to select a time slot that works best for you. You can send your question in advance via email, so that we can dive right in. We meet on Zoom for a video call - the link to the Zoom meeting is sent via email with the confirmation of your time slot.

I hope to see you in a private session soon.

Take care and mix great shows.
