Last week my Gainmedialab YouTube channel hit 1000 subscribers! Woot, woot!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who subscribed and watched my content. I never set out for my channel to gain a lot of traction, I just want to create and share content that I find interesting and feel will be valuable for anyone who is interested in audio, live sound in particular. So it is quite thrilling for me to see how many of you decided to join me on my journey of mixing, discovering different techniques in all aspects of sound and sharing them with you guys.

I realise that my content output has been quite diminished this year. Just like many audio professionals, I had to come up with another way of earning a living, since there is no work for live sound guys and girls out there at this moment. Fortunately, I was offered a position at Audio Pro, a professional music gear dealer, where I started my career many years ago. However, a full time position also means quite a bit less time to provide other content.

I am still working on my IEM Mixing online course, which will hopefully see the light of day soon - of course, you guys will be the first to hear about it. I also did a few online streaming and recording shows - those videos are also in the pipeline. So I am working on my content, it just takes quite a bit longer to finish all these projects now - but I am still really enjoying sharing my thoughts with anyone willing to listen. And judging from the comments under my videos, most of you are quite happy with the content and the info provided in these short videos, which is ultimately my goal.

Thank you again for walking this road with me. Hopefully, we are not far away form a world that is again willing and able to enjoy live shows. Until that happens (and beyond, of course), I wish you all to stay healthy and safe.
